Horns down Brazos, fall to Moulton

After a win at home over Brazos and a loss in Moulton prior to Christmas Day, the Shorthorns’ record stood at 8-7.Schulenburg avenged a setback earlier in the season to the Cougars with a 53-43 victory at SHS Gym on Dec. 18.

Lady Horns rout Louise, Hempstead

With blowout wins on the road before Christmas Day, the Lady Horns improved to 11-6 on the season.Schulenburg moved to 1-1 in District 28-2A after an 80-21 victory over Louise on Dec. 16. The Lady Horns shut out the Lady Hornets in the first quarter while scoring 23 points.
