After getting run-ruled in Ganado last week, the Shorthorns picked up their first victory in 29-2A three games into the district schedule.On Tuesday, Schulenburg (3-8) committed eight errors on the road which led to seven unearned runs in a 12-2 loss.

Schulenburg was held to four hits in two District 29-2A games last week against teams ranked in the Texas Girls Coaches Association poll. Both ended after three innings by run-rule.The Lady Horns (1-12-1) traveled to Ganado on Tuesday and were greeted by a 15-run first inning.
