Lady Horns run-ruled by Weimar in district opener

With a pair of seven-run innings, Weimar finished off a 19-0 win in Schulenburg last Tuesday, March 4 to start District 29-2A play.The Lady Horns (1-10-1) were held without a hit by Taylor Smith. Ten Schulenburg errors led to 15 unearned runs.The game ended by run-rule after five innings.

Horns pick up first two wins after loss to start 29-2A

The Shorthorns got into the win column at the Flatonia tournament on Thursday and Friday but started district play with a loss at home against Weimar last Tuesday.Schulenburg (2-7) was held to one run on five hits by Wildcat pitcher Huxton Kloesel, who struck out 10 in six and one-third innings.
