Ten games into the season, the Shorthorns have yet to play a Class 2A opponent. After three losses to 4A school and two wins over 3A teams last week, Schulenburg’s record stood at 5-5.Bellville jumped out to an early 19-6 lead en route to a 73-49 victory at SHS Gym on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

After starting last week’s action with a home loss against state-ranked Flatonia, the Lady Horns split their four games in the Brazos tournament.The Lady Bulldogs pulled away from Schulenburg (11-7) in the second half of the District 28-2A opener for a 57-21 win.
