Holding the No. 3-ranked team in Class 2A Division I to only 115 yards on the ground was an accomplishment for the Shorthorns last Friday at David Husmann Memorial Stadium.However, Ganado racked up 458 yards through the air in its 61-31 win.

The Schulenburg High School boys’ and girls’ cross country teams traveled to Texas A&MCorpus Christi on Monday, Oct.21 for the Region IV-2A.

Lady Horns sweep Ganado after 2-3 loss in Shiner

Three of the Lady Horns’ first six district matches have gone to five sets with the most recent one last Tuesday in Shiner resulting in their second 27-2A loss.Schulenburg bounced back at home on Friday to easily defeat Ganado 3-0, improving to 27-11 on the season.
