Lady Horns start district play with four-set win

After a four-set win in their District 27-2A opener against Shiner and a sweep of Yorktown in a non-district match, the Lady Horns improved to 23-9 on the season.In the first set last Tuesday, the Lady Comanches overcame a late six-point deficit to take a 1-0 lead.

SHS XC teams place in top three at Shiner meet

With a team total of 48 points, the Lady Horns finished second in the Shiner cross country meet, held at Green-Dickson Park on Saturday, Sept. 28. The Shorthorn squad also did well in the Class 1A-2A division with a third-place finish.

SJH runners compete in 28-2A event

The Lady Horns placed third with 53 points in the District 28-2A Junior High Cross Country Meet, held Saturday, Sept. 28 at Green-Dickson Park in Shiner.
