Lady Horns start 7-2, win Silver Bracket in Columbus tourney

In the first week of the 2024 season, the Lady Horns won seven of their nine matches starting with a four-set thriller at home against East Bernard on Tuesday, Aug. 13.The Brahmarettes won the second game by two points in between losses by five and six.

Schulenburg High School and Junior High cross country runners took part in their first meet of 2024, hosted by Yoakum ISD and held at Yoakum Golf Course on Saturday, Aug. 17.The Shorthorn and Lady Horn varsity teams both finished in eighth place.
