Horns notch first two wins in local tournament

Two Shorthorn seniors earn THSCA academic all-state honors in football

The Texas High School Coaches Association’s academic all-state listing in football for all classifications, announced last week, included two Schulenburg High School players. Nicolas Lopez and Bryce Stoever both earned second-team honors.

Lady Horns go 0-4 in Moulton after loss in district opener

The Lady Horns started District 28-2A play with a 25-point loss in Weimar last Tuesday, Dec. 5. In a rematch to start the Moulton tournament on Thursday, Schulenburg fared slightly better against the Ladycats but fell by 15 points.
