Lady Horns fall to Bellville, go 1-4 in local tourney

Heading into their first district game this week, the Lady Horns’ season record stood at 2-9 after five losses in six contests last week. Following a 48-point setback at Class 4A Bellville on Nov. 28, Schulenburg started pool play in the local tournament with a three-point win over Bartlett on Nov.

Shorthorns still looking for first win

The Shorthorns continued their tough early-season schedule last week with games against 3A and 4A teams. All five resulted in losses but they ranged from one to six points, dropping Schulenburg to 0-7.

Horns to be featured on TV program
