Boys’ alumni basketball game slated

The Schulenburg boys’ basketball program will host the second annual Shorthorn alumni game on Friday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. All former Horn basketball lettermen are invited to attend and participate.

Coming off a 22-9 season, the Shorthorns entered the 2023-24 campaign with a No. 4 ranking in Class 2A from the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches and Hoops Insiders.

Inexperienced Lady Horns pick up first win of 2023-24 season

Without any returning starters or major contributors from last season, a young Lady Horn squad has gotten off to 1-4 start to 2023-24. After struggling to score in its first four games, Schulenburg posted a win last Tuesday, Nov. 21.
