CCA“Meals on Wheels,” located at First Baptist Church, serves frozen congregate meals or frozen meals to the homebound. Meals should be ordered two weeks in advance and will be delivered to the homebound, or may be picked up at the center on Mondays.

Local Food Pantry serves 137 families during July

The Schulenburg Area Food Pantry served 137 families in July with a total of 423 individuals. The Pantry had three new clients with seven in those families. The amount of food given out was 8,088 pounds. Food donated was 3,404 pounds. Volunteer hours were 381.
