Donations being sought by St. Nicholas Ministry

2025 marks the 38th year of helping the needy in the Colorado, Fayette and Lavaca county area through the St. Nicholas Ministry. This ecumenical ministry provides food, new toys and gifts of blankets, quilts and other items to needy children, their families and the elderly at Christmas.

In the Christian faith, Advent is the four-week period leading up to Christmas. This year it begins on Nov. 30. It is a time of expectant waiting and preparation for both the celebration of the First Coming of Christ at Christmas and the return of Christ at his Second Coming.
