Schulenburg Family Fitness Center thanks its members and staff who donated 119 pounds of nonperishable food to the Schulenburg Area Food Pantry.

Combined CommunityAction’s “Meals on Wheels,” located at First Baptist Church, serves frozen congregate meals or frozen meals to the homebound. Meals should be ordered two weeks in advance and will be delivered to the homebound, or may be picked up at the center on Mondays.

Deputy Santa receives donation from Second Chance Emporium

Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated $7,500 to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Santa program. Monies donated will be used to purchase toys and bikes for Fayette County children, age 12 and younger, who were pre-registered to receive assistance.
