Combined CommunityAction’s “Meals on Wheels,” located at First Baptist Church, serves frozen congregate meals or frozen meals to the homebound. Meals should be ordered two weeks in advance and will be delivered to the homebound, or may be picked up at the center on Mondays.

The Fayette Electric Cooperative Charitable Donor Advised Fund is proud to announce the receipt of a generous grant from Second Chance Emporium in La Grange.

The annual Reformation Celebration sponsored by the Tri-County Cooperative Ministries (TCCM) will be hosted by Zion Lutheran Church in Moulton on Sunday, Oct. 26.The celebration will begin with a concert by the Shiner Polka Spirit Band starting at 4 p.m.

Catholic Daughters Sunday to be observed Oct. 19

Mayor Connie Koopmann has signed a proclamation designating Oct. 19 as Catholic Daughters Sunday.The Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) was instituted as an organization in 1903 for women with the purpose of growing in spirituality and working in faithful service and love for God.

Methodist Church serving as drop-off for OCC

First Methodist Church of Schulenburg, 209 N. Upton, is now a drop-off location for Operation Christmas Child (OCC), which is under the non-profit organization Samaritan’s Purse (for more visit SamaritansPurse. org/OperationChristmasChild).
