“Lord, as we enjoyed the Super Bowl football game, we were mindful of those without even a bowl of soup to eat” – this reflects the prayer that launched the Souper Bowl of Caring in 1990 in Columbia, S.C. St. Rose of Lima Catholic School and St.
Birth days – Out of 27 members celebrating birthdays in February, these three braved the ice-cold temperatures to get a slice of cake brought by Cynthia Trojacek. As of Feb. 21, total intake at the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter for 2025 stood at 224 – 117 dogs and 107 cats in need.As of Feb. 21, the shelter had 81 animals in its care – 66 dogs and 15 cats.

A $200 donation from the KJZT St. Anne’s Society No. 4 of Praha was recently deposited into the Matching Funds Campaign account at Fayette Savings Bank (FSB) for the benefit of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic School renovation campaign.
