Flatonia Baptist Church to host Baylor Men’s Choir

The Baylor University Men’s Choir will perform at Flatonia Baptist Church, 225 East 6th St., on Friday, April 4 at 7 p.m. as part of its spring tour. Everyone is invited to come hear the choir’s inspiring musicianship.

As of March 28, total intake for 2025 at the Gardenia E. Janssen Animal Shelter stood at 338 – 177 dogs and 161 cats in need.As of March 28, the shelter had 86 animals in its care – 59 dogs and 27 cats.

Second Chance gives to Fayette County theatre group

Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated $10,000 to the Fayette County Community Theatre (FCCT). Monies granted will be used to support theatre box office operations and the rising costs associated with putting on performances throughout the year.
