“Are you decorating for fall?” asks Stephanie Shroyer, Senior Connections program director.She says she’s thinking about making a scarecrow; it is a tradition in her family.She continues, “October is my birthday month, along with three of my siblings.
The Schulenburg Young Farmers recently donated $1,000 to the Texas Ramp Project, which builds handicap ramps for disabled or elderly people who can’t afford one. Accepting the check on behalf of the Texas Ramp Project was Frank Smith (left), and presenting the check was Ed Moeller (right) on behalf of the Schulenburg Young Farmers.

Combined CommunityAction’s “Meals on Wheels,” located at First Baptist Church, serves frozen congregate meals or frozen meals to the homebound. Meals should be ordered two weeks in advance and will be delivered to the homebound, or may be picked up at the center on Mondays.
