Members of the Schulenburg FFA Chapter attended the 97th Texas FFA Convention held June 30 to July 4 in Fort Worth, and six members received their Lone Star Degrees (see photo on Page 1). Schulenburg FFA Chapter represented at state FFA convention
The Schulenburg ISD cheerleaders hosted a mini cheer camp for 52 campers from Wednesday, July 9 through Friday July 11. The sessions were held in the new gym from noon to 2:30 p.m. The camp was open to students completing pre-K through those completing fifth grade. The mini cheerleaders learned chants, a cheer and a dance. The camp participants are also invited to perform a cheer during halftime of the first home football game for the Shorthorns on Friday, Aug. 29.
