Guenther, Poncik win in public speaking Crockett Guenther (right), a Schulenburg 4-H member, and Logan Poncik (left), a Fayetteville 4-H member, recently competed in the Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo Public Speaking Contest. In the junior division, Guenther was the overall grand champion public speaking contestant. Poncik competed in the senior division and won champion in the agriscience/agricultural technology category.
Nayeli Rodriguez, who is attending Blinn College-Schulenburg after graduating from Flatonia High, wants to become a criminal defense attorney.
