The 11th annual Turtle Wing Foundation Monster Dash was held on Sunday, Oct. 22 in Schulenburg at Jack & Mary’s. The event included over 20 booths with local organizations handing out candy, putting on games and giving out fun prizes.

St. Rose/Sacred Heart football game ends in tie

The St. Rose Cardinals played in Hallettsville last Wednesday and came away with an 8-8 tie against the Sacred Heart Braves. St. Rose received the opening kickoff and put together an impressive 14-play drive that took over ten minutes spanning the entire first quarter and into the second.
