Food manager training course set

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Fayette County is offering a two-day professional food manager certification training course, “Food Safety: It’s Our Business,” on Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 29-30, 2024 at the Fayette County Ag Building, 255 Svoboda Lane, La Grange.

PLCTM donates to Deputy Santa

The Polka Lovers Club of Texas Museum (PLCTM) recently made a contribution to the Fayette County Deputy Santa program. Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek and deputies of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office are conducting the Deputy Santa drive through Wednesday, Dec. 20.
