Local Police Dept. seeks help in identifying suspect

The Schulenburg Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect. On Friday, Sept. 8, at approximately 11:15 p.m., the subject in the photograph drove his truck into a building at The Texan, causing damage, and drove off without reporting it to anyone.

Man arrested after USPS finds narcotics in mailbox

DeputyJamesUlbig was dispatched to a residence on Old Plum Highway regarding the U.S. Postal Service locating narcotics in a mailbox on Saturday, Sept. 16, according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek. Upon Deputy Ulbig’s arrival, the narcotics had been removed.
