Schulenburg Police Department officers responded to a business in the 1300th block of Russek Street on Thursday, May 11 at approximately 6:18 p.m. for a report of an upset employee refusing to leave the premises.

New hours for Schulenburg Recycle Center

The Fayette County Recycling Center Schulenburg location has the following new hours: •Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. •Fridays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is hoped that adding the new Friday hours will help alleviate some of the congestion on Saturday mornings.
