State unemployment rate stays at 4.0 percent, Fayette County sees slight decrease in November

For the third straight month, the statewide seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate remained at 4.0 percent while the Texas economy added 657,600 positions annually in November, according to the Texas Workforce Commission.

November 2022 Sheriff Keith Korenek reports these activities of Fayette County deputies for November. Sgt. Ron Naumann investigated a theft in which items were taken from a barn leased to a third party. The suspect then listed the items on Facebook Marketplace and sold the items.
