The U.S. Small Business Administration is reminding eligible small businesses and private nonprofits organizations impacted by drought beginning Nov. 4, 2025, to apply for low-interest federal economic injury disaster loans before the deadline.

A 911 call reporting a structure fire in the 2000th block of U.S. Highway 77 just south of La Grange near Country Club Drive was received by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, July 20 around 4:26 p.m., according to Sheriff Keith Korenek.
