The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Yoakum District invites the public to participate in an upcoming virtual public meeting regarding the 2027-2030 Rural Transportation Improvement Program (Rural TIP).

John Dodson (front), Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Army, was recently presented a Quilt of Valor by Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 870. Dodson was not only a founding member and original officer of VVA Chapter 870 but is also a retired teacher in Schulenburg.
