KJZT donates over $90,000 to Texas Catholic churches

In response to the financial impact which COVID-19 has had on Catholic churches during the Easter season, along with festival season, KJZT Family Life donated over $90,000 to parishes across Texas, including local societies’ donations of $14,750.

Combined Community Action is continuing its meals program for those age 60 and older. Frozen dinners are being provided for clients – five meals for five days of the week.

The Ten Commandments – How to be content

Today we’re going to look at the 10th commandment – Exodus 20:17 “You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor.” It takes a quality people to build a quality nation. The reason we have been so incredibly blessed as a country is due to a large portion of Americans who have striven to live by the Ten Commandments. Nations and families flourish when people have the freedom to pursue their dreams and find contentment.

Moulton Catholic Church to hold picnic Sept. 20

Following months of event cancellations, Fr. Gabriel Maison and the parishioners of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moulton are moving forward with plans to have the Moulton Church picnic on Sunday, Sept. 20. They invite the public to their annual picnic at the new St. Joseph’s Social Center located on the church grounds.
