Financing increased for City projects

Two weeks after approving $14 million in financing through certificates of obligations for building renovations and other projects, the Schulenburg City Council increased the total to $15 million at its regular meeting Monday, March 16.

Josh Vandever and Josh Homan received the most votes among five candidates for Fayette County judge in the March 3 Republican Primary. Neither garnered 50 percent so a runoff for the seat between the two will be held on May 26.“I feel appreciative,” Vandever said.
