SPC Burgoon named ‘Hero of the Week’

SPC Steven Burgoon has been named “Hero of the Week” for the U.S. Army 2nd Platoon, 300th Military Police Company, for assistance rendered to soldiers involved in an accident. The incident occurred on Thursday, Sept. 24 at approximately 7:48 a.m.

Vehicle pursuit ensues at Engle, ends in Columbus

A traffic stop on Interstate 10 near Engle led to a pursuit that ended with an arrest made in Columbus on Wednesday, Sept. 23, according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek. Sheriff Korenek reports that around 3 p.m.
