In the absence of Fayette County Judge Joe Weber, Precinct 4 Commissioner Tom Muras led the Commissioners Court meeting on Dec. 23 as County judge pro-tem. With Muras’ retirement effective Dec. 31, appointing a new judge pro-tem was in order.

Schulenburg Knights of Columbus Council 2902 presented the 2020 Family of the Year award to the Edward Kusy family. Ed Kusy and his wife Peggy help at many of the KC drive-through dinners. Ed helps maintain the function and appearance of the Schulenburg Hall.
