Kea named president of Texas Exes

Schulenburg native and 1975 Schulenburg High graduate Arleas Upton Kea has been appointed as the new president of the Texas Exes, the alumni association of the University of Texas in Austin.Established in 1885, the Association now has more than 120,000 members.

Jensen takes over as principal of St. Rose

Following the retirement of Rosanne Gallia at the end of June, Taylor Jensen became the new principal of St. Rose of Lima Catholic School.Jensen, who earned her bachelor’s degree in 2010 and master’s degree in 2018 from Texas A&M University, noted that she and Gallia transitioned together.
