A Gonzales man was arrested on multiple charges following an incident that occurred in an area between Flatonia and Cistern on Monday, Sept. 9, according to Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek.Sheriff Korenek reported that around 10:52 p.m.

City’s budget, tax rate OK’d

A balanced budget for 2024-25 of $19,852,652 with a transfer from reserves of $2,082,692 was unanimously approved by the Schulenburg City Council at its regular meeting Monday, Sept. 16.The total increased approximately 13 percent from 2023-24.
