Administrator among SISD resignations

Following an executive session at last week’s meeting, the Schulenburg ISD Board of Trustees accepted three resignations and approved the hiring of three new staff members.

The addition of offering prekindergarten to 3-year-olds at Schulenburg ISD was unanimously approved by the Board of Trustees at its meeting Monday night, April 15.

Schulenburg man taken into custody by county deputy on multiple charges

On Wednesday, April 10 at approximately 4:46 p.m., Sgt. Ryan Meagher of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a 2009 gray Hyundai Sonata for a traffic infraction in the La Grange area. Contact was made with the driver, who had a 2-year-old in the back seat.
