James ‘Jimmy’ Lange

James “Jimmy” Lange was born on Dec. 1, 1939 in Burton to Alfred and Evelyn Wendland Lange and passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at St. David’s Rehab in Austin at age 80. He was a Weimar resident. He attended school and graduated from Round Top-Carmine High School in 1958.

Wendy Hrncir, age 93, of Victoria, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 30, 2020. Wendy was born Dec. 23, 1926 in Schulenburg to the late August and Mary (Baller) Klesel. She attended St. Rose Catholic School and Schulenburg High.

Evelyn Christ Mendel passed away peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 at the age of 93. She was born Oct. 9, 1926 in Hallettsville to Henry and Emilia Christ. She married the love of her life, Edgar Mendel Sr., on Nov. 4, 1946.

Ernie Paul Kloesel was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2020 at the age of 70, due to Parkinson’s disease. He was born in Weimar on July 3, 1950, the son of Eugene R. and Evelyn (Rerich) Kloesel.

Joyce K. Terrell, 84, of Weimar, passed away Monday, Aug. 31 in her home in Weimar with family beside her. She was born on Feb. 11, 1936, in Dubina to Jim and Marcella Korenek. Joyce was a longtime faithful member of Weimar Church of Christ.

Tristen Andrew Cother, 22, of New Braunfels, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 20. The funeral was held on Friday, Aug. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Oakwood Baptist Church in New Braunfels, followed by interment in Hill Country Memorial Gardens in New Braunfels. He was born on Feb. 19, 1998 in Fairmont, Minn.
