FRANTISEK & MARIE SVETLIK FAMILY The 22nd annual family reunion for descendants of Frantisek and Marie Svetlik will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3 at Blase’s Hall, 4276 US Highway 90A West, near Hallettsville.
Jerry Leonard (right) and Bonnie Baker (not shown), Schulenburg Garden Club members, spent hours traveling up and down the streets of Schulenburg to find a beautiful yard for September yard of the month – the weather has been very unkind to flowering plants. Kent and Shirley Ohnheiser at 1302 Kellett Ave. have a lovely yard and Shirley Ohnheiser (left) is an avid gardener. Both the front and side yards have a wide variety of colorful blooming plants.
