Members of the Fayette County Retired Teachers’ Association met on Monday, Jan. 8, with 18 in attendance. The fellowship time was hosted by Linda Oltmann and Joan Miertschin.

Wild Game Supper & Big Buck Contest Results A wild game supper will be held on Saturday, Jan. 27 at the Hallettsville KC Hall, with the doors opening at 5 p.m. Crawfish, deer, duck, hog, birds, chili, sausage, duck gumbo, beans, wild rice, etc. will be served.

The Hallettsville KC Hall will be the site for the 72nd Texas State Championship Domino Tournament on Sunday, Jan. 14, and the annual wild game supper on Saturday, Jan. 27. For the domino tournament on Jan. 14, registration will begin at 7 a.m. and play will begin at 9 a.m. sharp.
