Horns fall 3 strokes shy of 3rd straight trip to state

The 2024 Shorthorns became the first team in school history to earn back-to-back trips to the state golf tournament but their bid to make it three in a row fell three strokes short.

Horns get bounce-back win over ’Dogs

After an 11-1 loss in Shiner last Tuesday, the Shorthorns bounced back with a come-from-behind win over Flatonia on Friday at the Sports Complex.Heading into the final two regular-season games this week, Schulenburg owned an 8-11 season record and 5-5 mark in District 29-2A.

SHS sending four events to regional

Flatonia ISD hosted the Area Track & Field Meet for District 27-2A and District 28-2A on Thursday, April 10.Top four finishers in each event advanced to the Region IV-2A event, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, April 18-19 at Texas A&M-Kingsville.

Lady Horns fall to 2 district foes

The Lady Horns suffered a pair of district losses last week to drop to 2-19-1 on the season.On the road at Shiner on Tuesday, Schulenburg was held to one hit in the shutout while the Lady Comanches scored 19 runs on nine hits.
