Cardinals claim DVAL championship

With a decisive victory over Weimar St. Michael last Monday, the St. Rose “A” team boys claimed their first Diocese of Victoria Athletic League championship since 2019.

SHS softball team starts season 1-4

After run-ruling Rice Consolidated in their season opener, the Lady Horns dropped four games in the Somerville tournament last week.Schulenburg scored 14 runs on eight hits and made six errors in a five-inning contest at the Sports Complex on Monday, Feb. 10.

Horns hold of 'Dogs for rebound win

After suffering a 27-point loss to Shiner last week, the Shorthorns bounced back to defeat Flatonia by six.Schulenburg, at 13-14 on the season and 6-5 in District 28-2A, still had a chance to make the playoffs heading into the regular-season finale. The Horns needed a win in Louise on Feb.
