Weimar, Serbin win Community League semis

The top four teams in the Community League met this past Sunday, Aug. 4 in the semifinal playoffs of the amateur baseball league.The top-seeded Serbin Jackrabbits, which went undefeated in the regular season, hosted the No. 4-seed Shiner Clippers and advanced to the championship game with a 9-3 win.

Lady Horn volleyball team earns AVCA national team academic award for 11th consecutive year

The Schulenburg Lady Horn volleyball team is proud to announce that its members earned the 2023-24 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award.It is the 11th consecutive year that the Lady Horns have received the award.

VISD to name court after Jan Lahodny

The Victoria ISD Board of Trustees recently approved renaming the court at its District Event Center in honor of legendary educator and coach Jan Lahodny.The building, formerly the Victoria High School Gym, is located at 111 Sam Houston Drive.

Tri-County Friends of NRA to host annual gathering at Schulenburg KC Hall on July 26
