Lady Horn head basketball coach Larry Tidwell was very pleased with his first camp since returning to Schulenburg after 32 years.Forty-one players in Grades 3-8 showed up, an excellent start for better things to come in future camps, Tidwell said.

Closed-Open golf tourney being revived

For 35 years, locals took part in the Schulenburg Closed-Open Golf Tournament but it hasn’t been held since 2019.While no one stepped up to organize the long-standing event after skipping 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Larry Tidwell has returned to Schulenburg and revived the tourney.

Lady Horn Volleyball Camp slated July 15-17

Lady Horn Volleyball Camp will be held Monday through Wednesday, July 15-17 at the Schulenburg High School gym.The camp will include volleyball skills, drills and games.Cost is $25 (cash only), which includes a camp T-shirt.Times are 7:30 to 10 a.m.
