Willow, a 5- to 6-year-old hound mix, is a sweet gentle lady found in a pasture with her eight 3-week-old pups. Dean Ray Ahlschlager, Fayette County animal control officer, brought her puppies into the shelter but couldn’t get near her. He went back the next day with two of her babies and she came running. She’s safe, happy, her puppies have moved on to new forever homes in New Jersey and now it’s her turn to be a baby.
