County 4-H’ers advance to State 4-H Horse Show

Four Fayette County 4-H’ers – Haley Schramek, Elizabeth Shank, Teagan Kallus and Alivia Eindorf – competed in the 2023 District 11 4-H Horse Show in Edna on May 31 and June 1. They belong to the Fayette County 4-H Horse Club, and Schramek and Shank are also members of the Schulenburg 4-H Club.

The ACCSS Summer Bridge Program will be offered Tuesday through Thursday, July 18-20 from 8 a.m. to noon at Blinn College-Schulenburg campus. All incoming freshmen through graduating seniors are welcome. Students should check in at the Liberal Arts Building, Room 120.

A $1,000 scholarship has been awarded to Elise Flusche (right) by the American Legion Post 143 and Auxiliary in Schulenburg. Flusche is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Muenster. She is the granddaughter of Vernon and Connie Dittrich, with Vernon pictured at left.
