SISD JV band gets high ratings at Yoakum Bulldog Invitational

The Schulenburg ISD JV Band, under the direction of assistant director of bands Fabian Weirich, competed at the 11th annual Yoakum Bulldog Invitational on Saturday, May 6. The band, which performed three pieces for the judges, was rated on the same rubric as UIL.

The Fayette County 4-H won the overall sweepstakes award at District 11 4-H Livestock Judging Contest on Saturday, April 15 in Bryan. This the first time that Fayette County 4-H has won the sweepstakes, according to Kayla Kaspar, Fayette County Extension agent for 4-H youth development.
