Schools partner with Turtle Wing to host Autism Acceptance Games

During this past week, both the Schulenburg and Flatonia baseball and softball teams hosted Autism Acceptance Games in partnership with Turtle Wing Foundation. A child enrolled in special education got to throw out the first pitch of the game and be the star of the show.

St. Rose eighth grade class attends Chrism Mass at Victoria Cathedral

On Tuesday, April 4 of Holy Week, the St. Rose eighth graders attended the Chrism Mass at the Cathedral in Victoria. It was a beautiful celebration with the bishop and all priests and deacons of the diocese together.

ACCSS program to host open house April 19

ACCSS will host an open house on Wednesday, April 19 at Blinn College-Schulenburg campus in Room 120 of the Liberal Arts Building. This event will begin at 6 p.m. with a barbecue meal provided for all attendees.

Twelve Fayette County 4-H members competed in the Rodeo Austin Livestock Judging Contest on Friday, March 24. Fayette County 4-H Junior Team 1 placed fifth overall.
