Farm Bureau scholarships available

The Swiss Alp /Ammannsville/ Dubina Farm Bureau will again award scholarships to seniors from area high schools. The scholarships may be used at any accredited university, college or vocational school. Scholarship applications may be obtained by contacting counselors at the schools.

Nine Fayette County 4-H members competed in the San Antonio Livestock Show Beef Skill-A-Thon on Monday, Feb. 12.

FCF taking applications for 2024-25 scholarships

The Fayette Community Foundation (FCF) is now accepting applications for its 2024-25 scholarship awards. Applications can be found at www.faycofoundation.com/ scholarships or through high school counselors in Fayette County and surrounding areas.

Guenther was third overall in the Junior Agricultural Public Speaking Contest. His topic was “Ruminant Rumination.” Poncik competed in the Senior Agriculture Public Speaking Contest. His top was“Electronic Identification Tags.”
