Soil, water, hay testing campaign set Oct. 3-26

A soil, water and hay testing campaign is being conducted from Oct. 3-26 by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Fayette County, in conjunction with the Fayette County Commissioners Court and Fayette County Groundwater Conservation District.

Entries being taken in fish art contest

The Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center (TFFC) is accepting entries for the 2023 Texas division of Wildlife Forever’s Fish Art Contest through Feb. 28, 2023. The Fish Art Contest is part of an international conservation education program designed to foster youth interest in fisheries and fishing.
