Carr wanted by SPD for hotel robbery

UNTORIUS CARR, age 19, is wanted by the Schulenburg Police Department for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is described as 5’6” and 140 pounds.

House gutted by fire Sunday night

A small, wood-framed home in the 1200 block of South Street was gutted by a fire of undetermined origin late Sunday night, Jan. 17. The Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department battled the blaze for about an hour and a half.

Judge Weber addresses hospitalization rates & Fayette County

Fayette County Judge Joe Weber issued the following press release late afternoon on Tuesday, Jan. 12: Fayette County has been notified that, due to the high hospitalization rate in its trauma service area, elective surgeries and other conditions included in Gov. Abbott’s GA-32 may not be allowed.
