Young Farmers to hold annual hay show at Fair

The Schulenburg Young Farmers will hold their 58th annual hay show on Wednesday, Aug. 27 and Thursday, Aug. 28 in conjunction with the Fayette County Fair in La Grange.Judging will take place at 1 p.m. on Aug. 27 at the Emily Fritsch Pavilion at the Fairgrounds. The hay show sale will begin at 8 p.

After five months at 4.1 percent, Texas’ seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate registered at 4.0 percent in June, according to the Texas Workforce Commission.Fayette County’s rate (not seasonally adjusted) dropped 0.1 percent from May, to 3.7.
