Polka Lovers Club Museum to hold fall open house

The Polka Lovers Club of Texas Museum (PLCTM) in La Grange will host a fall open house Friday, Oct. 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 18 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., in conjunction with Heritage Fest and Muziky, sponsored by the Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center (TCHCC).

This Schulenburg Garden Club’s yard of the month for October is the home of Jean and David Swartz at 305 Bohlmann. The lovely home is accented with a large variety of flowers and shrubbery. Periwinkles, and Esperanza, along with a beautiful pecan tree, dominate the front yard.
