The junior varsity Shorthorns improved to 3-2 on the season after a 42-2 win over Hearne in Bryan on Thursday, Sept. 28.

St. Rose Cardinals defeat Bulldogs 22-8 in Flatonia

The St. Rose Cardinals were on the road for the third straight week and defeated the Flatonia Bulldogs 22-8 last Thursday, Sept. 28. The Cardinals received the kick to start the game and put together a time-consuming, nine-play drive taking over five minutes.

‘Short’ Horns come thru with OT win after Thorndale comeback

Even with multiple injuries impacting the lineup, the Shorthorns were able to build a 20-point lead last Friday in Thorndale. But, after a Bulldog comeback, they needed some clutch plays to start district with a 41-40 win.
