Lady Horns fall to Maidens, down Kittens

A 12-run fourth inning powered Ganado to an 18-3 win over the Lady Horns at the Sports Complex last Tuesday. The loss dropped Schulenburg to 2-4 in District 29-2A but a 19-9 victory over Class 1A Moulton on Thursday improved its season record to 10-9.

Lady Horns blow out Bloomington

Playing only two and a half innings last week, the Lady Horns improved to 2-3 in District 29-2A and 9-8 overall. After run-ruling Bloomington at the Sports Complex on March 19, Schulenburg’s game on Friday in Louise was postponed to March 25 due to weather.

Horns notch pair of run-rule wins

After out-scoring Bloomington and Louise 34-1, the Shorthorns improved to 9-8 on the season and 3-2 in District 29-2A. Connor Lichnovsky pitched both games since they were six days apart. He gave up three hits and one earned run over nine innings, striking out 17.
