The removal of an awning revealed the wording that was on the Galipp’s Super Market building downtown prior to 1980. That was the year when the family-owned grocery store completed an expansion and renovations after purchasing the space of the two businesses on the east side of the building.

Judge Ed’s Dubina history book published

After serving as Fayette County judge for 28 years, Ed Janecka stepped down from the position in 2018 and devoted his time to a personal project. “I’ve always had a great love for history,” the Dubina native said Monday when he stopped by the Sticker office.
